Terms of service

These terms cover your use of this website, run by Stridr (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them.

They are not the terms of a project. When we take work on, we send you a written quote setting out the scope, price and timeline, and that quote governs the work. Where a quote and this page disagree, the quote wins.

This site describes what we do and lets you send us an enquiry. Everything on it, from the services and timelines to phrases like “live in days”, describes how we normally work. It is not a binding offer or a guarantee for your particular project.

The mockups shown on this page are illustrations of the kind of thing we build. They are not screenshots of a named client's system, and the businesses in them are invented.

The first consultation is free and carries no obligation on either side. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract, and neither does our reply.

After the call we send a written quote. Work starts when you accept that quote in writing. Until then nothing is owed by anyone.

Prices, payment schedule and currency are set out in your quote. Unless the quote says otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days.

Taxes that apply in India are charged on top of the quoted price where the law requires it. Third-party costs (domains, hosting, message credits, paid APIs) are yours, and are listed separately in the quote.

To do the work we usually need you to give us, in reasonable time:

• your content: text, photos, logos, prices, menus
• access to accounts we have to set up or connect, such as your Google or WhatsApp business accounts
• feedback at the review stage

You confirm that the content you give us is yours to use. Timelines assume we get these things when we ask; if they arrive late, the date moves.

A lot of what we build sits on platforms we do not control: WhatsApp Business and Meta, Google Business Profile, payment gateways, hosting providers, AI model providers. Your use of those is subject to their own terms, and they set their own prices.

Some of them require approval that only they can grant. WhatsApp message templates are the common example. We prepare and submit what is needed and we work with you on rejections, but we cannot promise a platform will approve something, keep a feature available, or keep its pricing the same.

Once you have paid for a project in full, the work we made specifically for you is yours: your website, its content, your configuration and your data.

We keep ownership of the general tools, templates and know-how we bring to every project, and of anything licensed from someone else. Fonts and stock assets stay under their own licences, which we pass on to you.

We would like to show the work in our portfolio. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not.

What ongoing support covers, and for how long, is set out in your quote. Outside that, we fix things we broke.

We take care with this work, but we cannot promise that a website, chatbot or automation will be free of faults, available without interruption, or produce any particular commercial result: sales, rankings, bookings or reviews. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a result.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Either of us can end a project in writing. You pay for the work done up to that point; we hand over what you have paid for.

We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and changes apply from the date they are published. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
