Privacy policy

This policy covers Stridr (“we”, “us”) and this website. It explains what we do with the details you send us and what you can ask us to do with them.

It applies to people who contact us through this site. Once we start working together, the agreement we sign with you takes precedence for anything it covers.

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• your name
• your WhatsApp number
• your email address, if you choose to give one (the field is optional)
• your business name and type
• which services you selected, and the message you wrote

If you reach out by WhatsApp or email instead, we collect the same kind of details, plus whatever you choose to tell us about what you need help with.

We do not collect payment information through this website. Payments are handled directly between you and us through separate channels (bank transfer, UPI and similar) and are not stored on this site.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, the page requested, the time) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It is cookieless and does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you. We do not run advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we do not set cookies for those purposes.

We use what you send us to:

• reply to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation
• understand your business needs before we speak
• deliver and support the services you have engaged us for
• follow up about ongoing work, if you are a client

That means contacting you on WhatsApp, by phone or by email at the details you gave us, and referring back to your message so the conversation starts somewhere useful. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send you anything unrelated to your enquiry.

The legal basis is straightforward: you asked us to get in touch, and we are acting on that request.

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business and deliver services. They receive only what they need to do their job and are bound by their own privacy and security practices. Today that means:

• Formspree receives the form submission and forwards it to our inbox. See the Formspree privacy policy.
• Vercel, our hosting provider, serves this website, keeps the server logs described above and provides the visit counts.
• Email services carry our replies to you.

We do not sell your details, rent them, or share them with anyone else for their own marketing. If a project later needs us to bring in another provider on your behalf, such as a WhatsApp Business API provider for the automation we build for you, we will tell you who and why before we do it.

Our providers may store and process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose established providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

If we do not end up working together, we keep your enquiry for up to 24 months, in case you come back to us, and then delete it. If you are a former client and we have not been in touch for an extended period, we may delete your details from our records sooner.

If we do work together, we keep what the project needs for as long as the project runs, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to.

You can ask us to delete it sooner. See the next section.

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your enquiry
• stop contacting you

Just email us at stridr.in@gmail.com and say what you want. We will act on it within 30 days and we will not ask you for a reason. If you are in India, these rights sit alongside the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so on the homepage rather than quietly editing it.
